accommodation for the disabled and to cater for individual needs and to
improve from experience. Not every person is disabled in the same way.
So we all have special requirements. Please tell us of any special needs
or requirements.
A Simply Superb Holiday
Home & Location - Villa G is
situated in a group of 11 Villa’s, just off the well known Danau
Tamblingan St. in a serene and quiet location. 5 mins by foot or
Wheelchair from Sanur Beach. Villa G has been built with the disabled in
mind. “IT HAS NO STEPS”
We are about 30mins by Taxi from the action packed areas of Kuta, Legian
and Seminyak & 1 hour from Ubud. We have a large private disabled
swimming pool with a hoist, hand rail and ramps, so easy to glide into
the sparkling cool water. We have plenty of carers around to help. There
are plenty of good quality restaurants and bars within easy distance.
If you want a perfect relaxing holiday we can promise you one.
We recommend you use Bali Access Travel who will not only assist you
with any special Accessible Transport and Equipment you may require.
Bali Access Travel can arrange Nurses, Carers, Transport and even
independent holiday accommodation assessment. They can also arrange
tours suited to your Special Needs with adapted transport for those who
require it.
Accommodation.
Villa G has 3 double guest rooms each with its own air conditioner &
en-suite, very large bathrooms with his & hers basins. The path from the
car park and reception area is FLAT and wide. Two rooms are suitable for
wheelchairs (Manual or Electric) with a shower & toilet that has
COMPLETE entry for a wheelchair. In fact the shower entrances are 1.8
meters wide. There are very wide double doors, in all rooms and NO
STEPS, accessible light switches and sockets. Dimensions can be supplied
upon request. Both rooms have emergency bells. the staff are on site 24
hrs.
The other room is for people
who can stand for short periods, the able are also welcome. We can also
arrange accommodation in the other Villa’s in the complex for your able
friends & family.
All three rooms are suitable for single or double occupancy. Extra beds
can be arranged for a small fee per night. All rooms are large and have
double sliding entrance doors which easily accept a wheelchair. Each
room is fitted with Wardrobe, Flat screen TV, Hairdryer and Home
theatre. Tea and coffee is available at any time, just ask our staff.
Bathrooms have double basins, roomy shower's free standing stone bath
and spacious toilet. We also have a Omega 300 electric hoist available
for those who need it. Please advise on booking if you require it. There
is an outside shower in true Balinese tradition, which gives the effect
but not really suitable for people who cannot stand on their own.
Although we do supply special shower chairs & plastic chairs for
showering if required.

Living Area - This large and open
plan with roomy comfortable furniture. The easterly open front catches
the cool morning sun while you leisurely eat your breakfast. Looking out
over the pool and garden. The Dining table seats 6 people. Breakfast is
served between 7am & 10am and is an American or Full English breakfast.
Setting you up for the full day ahead. Evening meals can be arranged at
24 hrs notice. Special meals and dietary needs are available. Please
tell us in advance if you need Halal food or need your food Puried or
Vegetarian. Outside
- The easterly facing garden and pool is a great place to relax and
we have comfortable sun beds. Villa G has a very special atmosphere.
There is something soothing & calming about the place, everybody feels
it and they are perfectly at home. Of course again there are NO STEPS
on the property.
Special Requirements - Please let us know my e-mail or Fax your
individual disability & Special requirements. We will do our best to
accommodate your needs.
Staff - All our lovely staff are well trained in caring for the
disabled and are more than willing to help. Most other special
requirements can be arranged through Bali Access Travel.
We have a qualified Physiotherapist on hand, as well as Massage
facilities. Which can be carried out in the comfort of your own room
Again this must be arranged 24hrs in advance. Cost is currently about
US$15 per 1hr session.
Medical Facilities - There are good Hospitals in the area with
full repatriation facilities. We do strongly advise you arrange Medical
and Repatriation Insurance in your home country for the full period
before departure to Bali. We cannot be responsible for any medical or
Hospital bills incurred.
Nearest Airport - Denpasar International Airport is 30 minutes
away and we have Airport pick up and drop off for guests staying 1 week
or more. Just give us your flight detail & day of Arrival/Departure.
Please let us know how many people you are, how much luggage you have
especially Wheelchairs and Rollators. If you need special transport this
will be arranged with Bali Access Travel.
